Stick and Ball

Digital art by i2

# 000 048 5/27/21

It’s a term that’s borrowed from the sport of Polo. When players practice manipulating the Polo ball with their mallet, they call it “Stick and Ball”. It seemed fitting for that picture.

This image lives because of its colors. Randomly (but not so randomly) distributed over the printed area, the pastels invoke a relaxed, subdued but happy feeling.

Is there something familiar about the picture above?

Just like all the other i2 pieces of art, it was created by reorganizing and duplicating these master shapes:

Remember, i2 has restricted herself to use only these shapes.
