A Time to Share…
Once again the idea came from an online social network. It was a facebook post that inspired Rachel Sutton to share it, and it ignited an outpouring of support.
The post was published first by passionatepennypincher.com, a website that helps people by suggesting ways to save money.
The idea itself stems from the popular Advent Calendars that originated in Germany. Traditionally a treat for children, these Advent Calendars have become much loved elsewhere and by grown-ups too.
Now let’s see if this idea will get enough people to act, so it can make a difference for a local charity or family.
Rachel’s Countdown Calendar has become a “Be More Initiative” that qualifies you to earn KR Points.

Rachel is a doer, and she does what she preaches. For her effort with this inspiring Be More! Initiative, she is nominated to receive a Heart & Dove Award™ in 2020.
