Day 12: Share a Picture of Your Favorite Comfort Food

What’s your favorite comfort food?

And what does it have to do with kindness?

Very simple: good food is always prepared with love. Have you noticed it?

Just think about your own cooking, and how your mood affects the outcome. To cook for others and prepare a meal with love, is truly an act of kindness. We want people to like our food, have them enjoy it.

We’re doing it for them. When we’re choosing the ingredients thoughtfully, and then care to create the best dish we possibly can prepare, then that is pure love.

Especially now. During difficult and uncertain times, it is so important to eat properly. But it’s also important to allow yourself to indulge a bit.

You already know what ice cream, cinnamon rolls, a hearty soup or a good steak can do for you. A meal that you like will raise your mood right away.

However…

Just because you may need a little more treats right now, you should still watch for proper nutrition. Everything in moderation is the key here, and you should keep it that way year round.

Stay posted after we’ve all recovered from this dire situation.
