Day 8: Name ONE item you have shared

Give a little – get some more!

In times of need, people tend to come together and be more generous. I know of many people who have enough supplies for their families, and they have been freely sharing with those who aren’t so lucky.

Since this ‘sheltering in place’ started, were you able to share something with a friend or neighbor, or a stranger?

You’re not alone in this world

And that’s good to know, because we can’t exist without others. I wouldn’t want to anyhow, it would be a boring, lonely place. Having friends is a wonderful thing!

But mostly for those who need a little extra attention and reassurance. Or supplies.

Y’all are aware that for some people it’s impossible to stock up on protective gear or even daily necessities. It’s been written about in the media enough times, not just because of the now infamous toilet paper hoarding. So you know that there’s a genuine need out there.

To be honest, I don’t think that this need is gonna subside anytime soon. If you can spare some items, give them to someone who really needs them!

BECAUSE you’re not alone on planet Earth!

EVERYTHING we do, everything we have, everything we are, is possible ONLY with the help of others. Or the discoveries, philosophy, work and teachings of every single person who has lived before us.

Don’t believe for a moment that we could’ve come this far without social interactions or communication. Somebody (and I suspect it’s more than one person) has contributed to each of us at some point in our lives.

I KNOW that you know that too. If you haven’t done so already: plan to share SOMETHING, even in a small way. And continue to give of yourself during your entire life!
