Day 4: Call Someone You Haven’t Talked to This Year

Let Them KNOW You Care!

Everybody has one or more friends who somehow seem to have fallen off the ‘urgent list’.

Including myself. I am not a phone person. In fact, I categorically dislike talking on the phone so much so, that I get out of the habit of contacting people who do not care about social media or emails.

Yet, they call me a ‘friend’ still. I don’t even deserve this.

I keep making excuses to myself, that I’m too busy, or that I need to finish this one more post, or whatever I’m trying to tell my conscience to justify my neglect.

Yes, it’s on me.

And it’s not necessary. Because there is ALWAYS time to make ONE phone call. Doesn’t mean that you have to make it a regular habit. But in times like these, it is kind to let a person know you care enough.

It’s not rocket science to imagine how it will make you feel. After you’ve made that call, you can walk away glad or even relieved, and you’ll discover that it was both cleansing for you, and it brought joy to someone else.

They are NOT forgotten, and they still need YOU to reach out.

I will do that today, and continue one each day, until all of my remote friends have been called.

Please reach out – they are waiting for you!

Call someone now and make their day!

Doesn’t have to be an hourlong conversation – just see if they’re ok, and tell them that you’re thinking of them.

A little kindness will go a long way!

Best of all: you earn 50 KR Points towards FREE goodies!

Be that person! Nobody should have to feel alone in this crisis. Your friends and family need you now – pick up the phone and talk to them!

Make one phone call per day, or as many as you want to. You get KR Points for it once a day, every day, if you post about it in the comments.

Do it today and get 50 KR Points! (Love & Peace Society™ VIP Members and Love & Peace Executives™ President Members always get double: in this case, that’s 100 KR Points!)
