Nomination for the Heart & Dove Awards™ and Induction into the Love & Peace Hall of Fame™:
|On November 5, 2019, someone posted online about a mishap that befell her husband:
“Hubbys truck tailgate opened this morning on the way to work…all his tools fell out and he didn’t notice until he got to work. Back tracked and didn’t see anything. Anyone happen to see? Hypoluxo and Lawrence headed towards 95”
So while most responses to this thread were something like “oh, that sucks” or “I’m so sorry”, some people actually offered insights and tips that ranged from asking about it at a nearby gas station to go searching for them in pawn shops.
One single person stood out, however. David Kline suggested to lend his own tools to the unlucky guy, so he could continue to work.
That is the most divine answer to a person in distress, such as in this case. From David’s post, it was clear that he didn’t know the newly tool-less people, but he offered anyway. I have no idea whether they followed up on his gracious proposal, but it doesn’t matter.
The fact is that David offered immediate and uncomplicated help.
David Kline is a “Mensch”, a role, model, a Kindness Rebel of the finest kind.
