It’s all for the dogs (and Cats)

For quite some time now, I’ve been using the local NextDoor App.

And among all the posts and the wonderful neighbors watching out for one another, there is indeed one person who stands out.

It is Roberta O’Grady – someone who I’ve never met, but who works tirelessly to reunite beloved pets with their owners. Or she will spread the word about animals that were lost. A cat that got outside and didn’t come back, or a dog that ran away to some other neighborhood.

All the heartbroken pet owners came to appreciate Roberta. There isn’t a day where she doesn’t post about someone’s missing animal. She’s got a heart as big as the entire continent!

Waiting to be loved again…

When there are no lost (or found!) pets, she will post images of shelter animals who are in need of a good home. And there are success stories aplenty.

Day, after day, after day.

Roberta’s life seems to revolve about animals, and she has done so much to bring comfort to their owners as well. She lives right here in Palm Beach County, which makes it so real, and so close to home.

A heart of gold for those who can easily run out of options: our pets!
